Let Your Mind Run Run+ Workshop + Speakers

Read & Run Chicago is bringing you a one-of-a-kind running experience inspired by Deena Kastor’s memoir Let Your Mind Run: A Memoir of Thinking My Way to Victory! During this event, you’ll run approximately 3.6 miles and workshop mind-strengthening exercises to prep you for your Chicago Marathon experience (or any other tough challenge—being registered for the marathon isn’t required for this event, though we’ll talk a lot about the race).

We’ll end the run at Fleet Feet Chicago’s South Loop location—150 West Roosevelt Road—to hear more from Sport Psychologist Dr. Michele Kerulis, a runner herself who leads the races’ “psyching” team; Carla Benton, a book editor who served as the proofreader for Let Your Mind Run; and Carey Pinkowski, Executive Race Director of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.

Registration here.
