Trail Run at Bunker Hill with Forest Preserves of Cook County

Read & Run Chicago and Forest Preserves of Cook County are partnering for a morning of trail running (or walking!) plus coffee, snacks, and speakers, all inspired by the writings of Jerry Sullivan (1938-2000), a geologist, naturalist and journalist known for his Field & Street column in the Chicago Reader. While exploring this forest preserve, you’ll hear a live reading of one of Sullivan’s essays set in Bunker Hill, learn all about goldenrod from nature educator Bonnie Tawse, and hear from Erin Faulkner about her work as co-steward of Bunker Hill.
