Join Arc'teryx, Read & Run Chicago, and Black Girls Read Book Club for a 3-mile easy-paced run and book swap!
Arc'teryx is partnering with Read & Run Chicago and Black Girls Read Book Club for an easy 5K run with Allison of Read & Run Chicago. After the run, join Allison of Read & Run Chicago and Cynthia of Black Girls Read Book Club for a pre-summer book swap, snacks, drinks, and shopping at Arc’Teryx.
Meet up details: Meet at 6pm on Wednesday, April 26 in front of Arc'teryx Gold Coast for the easy 5K run. If you prefer to join for the book swap portion only, plan to arrive at 7pm!
What to bring: Bring a gently used book wrapped in a recycled or eco-friendly material (old shopping bags, newspaper, etc.). Write three describing adjectives on the wrapping. We highly recommend bringing a book written by a woman of color.
