Trail Run in Cuba Marsh Forest Preserve hosted by Patagonia + Read & Run

Patagonia and Read & Run Chicago are teaming up again to bring another public transit-accessible trail run inspired by Lindsay Welbers’ Chicago Transit Hikes as part of Read & Run Chicago’s ongoing series!

On this 3-mile guided trail run over marshes and oak forest landscapes in Cuba Marsh Forest Preserve, runners will glimpse a unique dry-hill prairie, see the progress of native species restoration and replanting of over 80,000 trees, and travel over a picturesque boardwalk. After the run, hear some Chicagoland grocery store history relevant to the park and enjoy snacks and a chance to win Patagonia swag with a donation to The Wetlands Initiative.
